I find that many job seekers confuse the intellectual use of social networks with a loss of privacy. This is a serious mistake:
Today, “invisible” job seekers are often referred to as recruiters and potential employers with some suspicion. It is rare to find any signs of activity on the Internet for someone, and the lack of visibility is especially important when the job seeker is not on the Internet. Often, such invisibility is a bad sign: are you not in the know, at times or using a false name?

People often often show a lot on sites like Facebook and Twitter. This is possible even with LinkedIn, if you are trying hard enough to get involved in meeting new people, share your opinion with your peers and joke.
In the latest JobVite.com survey, 93% of recruiters indicated that they were likely to look at a candidate’s social profile, and 42% of those recruiters were reviewing a candidate supported what they found – each positive and negative.
Your solid base: All-Star LinkedIn Profile
The All-Star Profile is inevitable for successful visibility and trust in LinkedIn. A full LinkedIn profile gives you the ability to include the keywords you need for your job search.
The All-Star profile has the following elements:
Profile picture -This photo should only be you (not children, friends or pets) looking friendly and properly dressed for your profession. Do NOT avoid including this photo! No photo in your profile is invisible.
Your professional headline is-The title for your profile should be the exact, descriptive and simpler name of your work and the name of the employer (by default). Your location is in LinkedIn is a city and state , not your address!
Current Current Position –
LinkedIn gives you 2,000 locations, so you can and should describe the position in as much detail as possible. Focus on your achievements, which are much more than a bulleted list of “responsible for” items. Also describe your employer if this is not a very well-known organization.
Two past positions –
Again, describe each position in detail. Like the current position, you have 2,000 places to use for each of your other tasks. Highlight your success as well as your employers.
Your education —

Your skills (minimum 3) –
Choose the ones that are most important to you and your profession.

And even better, of course, because you become more visible in LinkedIn search results depending on the size of your LinkedIn network.
